- 5:00 PM2hThe Vagina Monologues [30th Anniversary Performance]Hosted by the URI Women's Center and URI Gender & Sexuality Center. Written 30 years ago, Vagina Monologues is based on writer V’s (formerly Eve Ensler) “Vagina Interviews” conducted with 200 women all around the world. The play is a compilation of monologues performed by various women that address the issues of violence against women, sexual assault, domestic violence, and genital mutilation. The play is unorthodox and at times shocking. Each year, the URI community comes together to perform this episodic play. Join us for this year’s performance! Doors open at 4:30PM.Visit URInvolved for complete event details.
