Location: Gender & Sexuality CenterREGISTER HEREJoin faculty, staff, and students for an Out & Proud Faculty/Staff–Student Mixer focused on connection, community, belonging, and support for LGBTQIA+ members of the URI community.Participants will have the opportunity to write letters in support of Coming Out Day, creating messages of affirmation, encouragement, and solidarity that celebrate LGBTQ+ visibility and remind members of our community that they are seen, valued, and supported.The mixer will also provide an opportunity to connect with the URI Honors Colloquium and its broader commitment to bringing the university community together around important social issues, dialogue, scholarship, and community engagement.5:15 PM — Walk to Edwards AuditoriumAt 5:15 PM, participants will walk together to Edwards Auditorium for the URI Honors Colloquium presentation, More Than Martians, by Tanya Harrison, beginning at 5:30 PM.
