We don't dodge the difficult parts of the Bible; we seek to understand them. Your questions are encouraged! Any students (regardless of your religious background or affiliation) are welcome to join us. If you don't have a Bible, we can provide you with one. Plus, we'll have free coffee!Note: We also have another time available if you can't make the 4:00 study. The 7:30 pm Coffee & Scripture meets in the Memorial Union downstairs (near the sushi place). What challenges do educator’s face? What restrictions are there preventing education from occurring? Are the requirements, expectations and limitations changing the way Educators function? What are the successes - giving students the opportunity to find their expressive voice?This exhibit will include the artwork and voices of a group of area educators from public, private and independent educational settings on all levels. Attendees will learn how to apply the principles and norms to their own work and conduct their research with integrity. This session will be taught and facilitated by experts on each particular seminar topic. Time will be provided for discussion and Q&A.RCR training is required for all graduate students with a research thesis. - Jan 226:00 PM2026 Home Horticulture Certificate Course - Apply by 12/1/25The 2026 Home Horticulture Certificate Course is a 14-week virtual program led by URI Cooperative Extension faculty and staff experts. From January 22 to April 30, participants will attend weekly evening Zoom classes, complete practical assignments, and apply concepts through a guided landscape observation and analysis project. - Mar 75:00 PMThe Vagina Monologues [30th Anniversary Performance]Hosted by the URI Women's Center and URI Gender & Sexuality Center. Written 30 years ago, Vagina Monologues is based on writer V’s (formerly Eve Ensler) “Vagina Interviews” conducted with 200 women all around the world. The play is a compilation of monologues performed by various women that address the issues of violence against women, sexual assault, domestic violence, and genital mutilation. The play is unorthodox and at times shocking. Each year, the URI community comes together to perform this episodic play. Join us for this year’s performance!
