Join the Multicultural Student Services Center as we kickoff Native American Heritage Month.Past topics included The Miseducation of Indigenous People; Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Children, and 2-Spirit People; the education system and how it impacts Native Americans; and Narratives of Native American History, Belonging, and Activism. This year's panel will center on modern-day politics and its impact on Native American/Indigenous communities. This event is in partnership with the Native American Student Organization (NASO), and catered by Sly Fox Den, a Native American owned-and operated business that specializes in authentic Northeast Indigenous cuisine.
