The course introduces students to various AI tools that can enhance their academic performance and overall college experience. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, students will gain practical knowledge and skills to use AI tools for academic and personal success in college.

We will begin with a demonstration of amplicon sequencing data analysis on the Unity cluster. A written tutorial will be provided to participants beforehand. The second half will take the form of office hours, giving participants the opportunity to ask bioinformatics-related questions and to receive help with running their pipelines on the Unity cluster. This session will be available over zoom and in-person. If you want to join in person, you will find us in room 203 (also called conference room A) of the Robert L. Carothers Library located on the URI Kingston campus.
