These students have been selected by their respective departments as the most outstanding in their chosen fields. Each recipient receives a certificate of student excellence and a University of Rhode Island medallion.

2:23:552025 Fall CommencementThe University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that Fall 2025 Commencement will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in the Ryan Center. All undergraduate and graduate students who complete their degree requirements by the end of the fall semester are eligible to participate.President Marc Parlange will preside over the ceremony, which features the conferral of degrees. Participating graduates will have their names announced, cross the stage, and have professional photos taken. Ceremony time is expected to be approximately 2 hours long.
