The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that Fall 2025 Commencement will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in the Ryan Center. All undergraduate and graduate students who complete their degree requirements by the end of the fall semester are eligible to participate.President Marc Parlange will preside over the ceremony, which features the conferral of degrees. Participating graduates will have their names announced, cross the stage, and have professional photos taken. Ceremony time is expected to be approximately 2 hours long.

Step inside URI Theatre’s fully student-produced production Two by Two, an evening of one-act plays directed by seniors Brandon Tallardy and Kenneth Dunn. This year’s showcase features Harold Pinter’s "The Dumb Waiter" and Ann Wuehler’s "Free Range Chickens," brought to life by student designers, stage managers, actors, and production teams.Two by Two runs Dec. 4–6 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. in J Studio at the Fine Arts Center.
