adidas, Rhody Athletics Continue Partnership With 5-Year Deal
KINGSTON, R.I. – Continuing a long-standing partnership with one of the world's top athletic apparel brands, Rhode Island Athletics, adidas and BSN SPORTS have announced a new five-year deal for the Portland, Ore.-based company to remain as the Rams' official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand.
BSN SPORTS is the nation's largest direct marketer and distributor of sporting goods to the school and league markets and a division of Varsity Brands. Through this partnership, BSN SPORTS will serve as the official apparel and equipment provider to the University of Rhode Island College Athletic Program while outfitting the university's athletes, coaches, and community members in premier Adidas product selection.

"These are two fantastic companies that share our commitment to excellence and innovation, and we look forward to achieving great success together in the years ahead."
Working with LEONA Marketing Group, Rhode Island Athletics was able to extend the adidas partnership that first began in 2009. The new deal extends the relationship into its third decade and will run through June of 2030. It includes a pair of two-year options.

As part of the deal, adidas and BSN SPORTS will supply the Rams' 19 teams with footwear, apparel, custom uniforms accessories and equipment, including travel bags, headwear, socks wristbands, gloves, eyewear and hardgoods, as well as collaborate on marketing initiatives through the 2029-30 season.
