- Oct 1510:00 AMOcean Nexus Webinar | Recent Trends in Ocean Knowledge and Governance CapacityThis talk will present initial findings from research to understand recent changes in ocean governance capacity. Across different sectors, trends in ocean governance capacity reflect funding, science, knowledge, technology, and policy priorities. Knowing these trends will better inform ocean governance, sustainability, and equity programs, projects, and funding for knowledge management, and help focus ocean governance and knowledge efforts. Drawing on news stories, academic and gray literature, and interviews with key informants, this project will identify areas that have strong capacity as well as those where there are capacity gaps for international ocean action. This webinar is brought to you by Nippon Foundation Ocean Nexus at the University of Rhode Island.
