Rhody Athletics, AEM, LLC. Announce Partnership Renewal
KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island Athletics announced today an expanded collaboration with partner AEM, LLC., New England's premier home improvement experts. Entering its second year with URI, AEM has more than doubled its investment for the 2025-26 season.
Through the partnership, AEM will showcase its brand in dynamic ways at the Ryan Center and on URI Athletics' digital platforms. Fans will see AEM featured prominently through concourse directional signage, TV-visible courtside LED signage during men's basketball, as well as ribbon wrap and scoreboard LED placements during both men's and women's basketball games.
"We are proud to see AEM deepen its commitment to Rhode Island Athletics," said URI Vice President and Athletic Director Thorr Bjorn. "Their expanded investment reflects the energy around our programs and enhances the game-day experience for our fans."
AEM's most distinctive asset in this partnership is ownership of the "Raise The Roof" Opening Tip-Off promotion, featured during all men's and women's basketball games. Leading into tip-off, AEM will receive exclusive visibility across all in-arena digital signage units, marking the first time URI Athletics has sold this high-profile game moment to a corporate partner.
The partnership was secured on behalf of URI Athletics by athletics multimedia rights holder Rhody Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the leading media and technology company powering college athletics.
"This partnership represents the value of connecting a local Rhode Island brand with the passionate Rhody fan base," said Rhody Sports Properties General Manager Matt Swiss. "We're thrilled to help deliver such unique visibility for AEM and to showcase the strength of aligning with URI Athletics."
