Statewide Gardening Information and Soil Testing ScheduleFrom March through October, our URI Master Gardener volunteers offer free soil pH testing to Rhode Island residents, helping you understand your soil's health and providing recommendations for improvement. Register for Orientation after committing to URI and at least one week before your chosen Orientation date.All new students are strongly encouraged to attend URI Orientation, where you will meet other new students, finalize your course schedule, get your ID, and learn more about campus.
