An initiative focused on supporting local high school students by collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year. URI community members will have the opportunity to donate items such as notebooks, folders, writing utensils, and other classroom necessities. Donation boxes will be placed in the multicultural center from September 15th through September 25, and flyers will be distributed all around campus to encourage participation and awareness of the drive. After the donation period ends, the community service committee members will meet on September 25th to organize and prepare all of the collected supplies.
