Explore career paths in government and industry as well as educational opportunities here at URI!We hope you will join us this fall for the University of Rhode Island's inaugural Sea Services Symposium. Representatives from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will be on hand to familiarize you with sea service missions, career paths, and benefits. The symposium will also showcase opportunities available through URI maritime-related degree programs and industries in the Blue Economy that closely relate to URI's programs and the sea services.

Graduate School students who complete degree requirements by August 2023 are also eligible to participate in the December ceremony. Graduates can still choose to participate in the May 2024 ceremony, too.
