Rams To Host FCS Playoffs Watch Party Following Saturday’s Ocean State Rivalry Game
KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island fans are invited to cheer on the football team as it competes in the second round of the FCS Playoffs at a Ryan Center Watch Party on Saturday, Dec. 7 following the men's basketball game against Providence College.
The No. 10 Rams will take on the No. 7 Mercer Bears at 2 p.m. on ESPN+ in Macon, Ga. Fans with tickets to the Rhody-PC game can remain in their seats following the conclusion of the contest to partake in the viewing festivities. Those without a ticket will not be able to gain access to the building until after the basketball game has ended.
Rhode Island Football began its postseason journey with a 21-17 win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Meade Stadium. The victory propelled the team to 11 wins for the first time in program history and helped the Rams achieve a perfect 7-0 mark at home in 2024.
The Rhody men's basketball team will look to continue its unbeaten 8-0 start to the season opposite the Friars in this weekend's game. A win for URI would snap a three-game losing streak in its series with Providence.
Tickets for the men's basketball game against Providence College are limited, but still available for purchase HERE.
