With songs like "Fast Car," "Give Me One Reason," and "Say Hallelujah," Chapman's catalog touches on faith, social justice, and all matters of the heart. Blues/Soul/Gospel artist, Kim Trusty, will perform Chapman's iconic songs with her live band for a unique musical/spiritual experience on Friday, April 11 in Fellowship Hall at Kingston Congregational Church, 7 pm.Joining Kim are special guest performers including Providence-based singer/songwriter Ben Shaw, jazz singer Paula Clare, cabaret singer Eden Casteel, and URI music majors Louis Shriber and Ally Campbell. Music will be interwoven with reflection, calls to action, and opportunities for connection.
