For instance, in 2014, the 10th Annual Fashion Show was held at the URI Memorial Union, featuring a fashion show followed by an after-party. Each year's fashion show typically centers around a unique theme, reflecting the organization's commitment to cultural expression and artistic excellence. In 2016, the show was titled "Fashion for the Gods," highlighting divine inspirations in fashion. The 2017 edition continued this tradition, further cementing the event's reputation for creativity and cultural celebration. The annual fashion show is more than just a display of apparel; it's a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage, artistic talent, and community engagement, embodying Uhuru Sasa's mission to enrich the cultural and social fabric of URI.Visit URInvolved for complete event details.

- Apr 267:30 PMGuys and Dolls, Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser, Book by Abe Burrows and Jo SwerlingHailed as the perfect musical comedy, this award-winning classic gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. "Count me squarely in the Guys and Dolls camp. If there's a flaw to be found in the 1950 'music fable of Broadway,' based on characters created by journalist/short story writer Damon Runyon, it's not in the Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows' drum-tight book. And it's certainly not in Frank Loesser's honey of a score." -New York Stage Review
