Blues/Soul/Gospel artist, Kim Trusty, will perform Chapman's iconic songs with her live band for a unique musical/spiritual experience on Friday, April 11 in Fellowship Hall at Kingston Congregational Church, 7 pm.Joining Kim are special guest performers including Providence-based singer/songwriter Ben Shaw, jazz singer Paula Clare, cabaret singer Eden Casteel, and URI music majors Louis Shriber and Ally Campbell. Music will be interwoven with reflection, calls to action, and opportunities for connection. - Apr 117:30 PMUniversity Artist Series: The Lodger live soundtrack - Spring 2025URI Artist Teacher guitarist Adam Levin presents The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog, a 1927 silent film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, with a newly composed score by Joseph Williams II, which won the Austin Critic’s Table Awards for Best Original Composition (Williams), and Best Instrumentalist. Live musical accompaniment is provided by the Great Necks Guitar Trio, Albuquerque-based classical guitarist, Mickey Jones, and internationally celebrated cellist and URI Artist Teacher Michal Shein. For fans of mystery and suspense this is not to be missed!
