The Rhode Island Music Educators Association and Dr. Emmett Goods, director of the URI Music Department's jazz program, present a day of jazz bands from various high schools schools throughout the state playing before a pannel of judges who critique each group and rate their performances. This even is free and opento the public.

Armando's senior classical piano recital is in partial fulfillment of a degree in Music.

Beckett's senior compostion recital wil feature newly written works as well as works composed earlier in his college career, in partial fulfillment toward a degree in Music.

The voice students of Atla DeChamplain and Rachel Hanauer will grab their microphones and sing some jazz, some show tunes and other kinds of popular styles for your listening pleasure. Also featured will be In The Pocket, a jazz choir direted by Professor DeChamplain. David Gilliland and Nathaniel Baker, collaborative pianists.

Students from the classical piano studio of Dr. Manabu Takasawa will perform solos and ensembles along with other URI Music faculty and student pianists for an evening of flying fingers and gentle arpeggios.
