- Oct 284:00 PMClimate change impacts on birds and their habitats in South County and the NortheastDr. Charles Clarkson, former Director of Avian Research for the Audubon Society of RI and Birding Tour Coordinator for the American Bird Conservancy, will speak about specific bird species and how adverse impacts on birds also connect to problems for other South County and Northeast species and humans. He will also address what we should be on the lookout for and what we can do to reduce the impacts. There will be time for Q & A.Parking is available in the lot off Briar Lane behind the Welcome Center. Letting us know if you plan on attending at aging@uri.edu is helpful but not required.
