Coffee & Scripture is Rhody Christian Fellowship's weekly in-depth Bible study. We discuss God, the Bible, and how it applies to our lives. We don't dodge the difficult parts of the Bible; we seek to understand them. Your questions are encouraged! Any students (regardless of your religious background or affiliation) are welcome to join us. If you don't have a Bible, we can provide you with one. Plus, we'll have free coffee!Note: We also have another time available if you can't make the 4:00 study. The 7:30 pm Coffee & Scripture meets in the Memorial Union downstairs (near the sushi place). This third Synergy Project group exhibition features 50 pieces from returning artists and scientists as well as new work exploring new topics. Each exhibition is an opportunity for guests to learn about ocean science in an engaging and unconventional way, prompting new conversations about science and its importance in climate regulation and ocean health with communities near and far.

Welcome to the URI Water Polo Clinic, where we offer a comprehensive and structured learning experience for all skill levels. Led by experienced coaches, including current and former players with a deep understanding of the game, our clinic is designed to develop each athlete’s abilities in a progressive, supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our clinic will help you build confidence in the water and grow your love for the sport of water polo!Our Clinic Focuses on Progressive Learning:Introduction to Water Polo Fundamentals: For beginners, we start with the basics: understanding the game’s rules, learning how to tread water, and mastering the basic strokes needed for effective movement. Our coaches break down each step to ensure you’re comfortable in the water and confident in your abilities.Building Core Skills: Once you’re comfortable in the water, we’ll focus on core skills such as passing, shooting, and positioning. Coaches will teach you the proper techniques for each skill, emphasizing how to work as a team, control the ball, and move efficiently.Developing Tactics & Strategy: As athletes progress, we introduce fundamental game strategies such as offensive and defensive positioning, the importance of spacing, and communication in the pool.
