Hertz Named Strength Coach for Women’s Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Rowing
KINGSTON, R.I. – Jack Hertz has joined the Rhode Island Athletics Strength and Conditioning staff ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Head strength and conditioning coach Scott Leech tabbed Hertz to work with the women's soccer, baseball, softball and rowing teams.
The Massachusetts native arrives in Kingston after spending the last four years working at national power IMG Academy. He worked directly with three national championship teams and hundreds of high school student-athletes that went on to compete at the Division I level.
Hertz has plenty of professional internship experience, having worked with strength and conditioning programs at Harvard, UCF, Florida and USF from 2018 to 2020.
A Florida alumni, he earned his bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in May 2020 before completing his Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science in May of 2021.
